+CityxChange explores and tests technical solutions for Positive Energy Blocks, e-mobility and urban regeneration. However, the greatest challenges are social, helping people to participate in change.

We are developing a framework for an ‘Innovation Playground’, a physical and virtual space where citizens and stakeholders collaborate and engage with their place, local issues and change.

Space Engagers will support the Lighthouse Cities and Follower Cities in setting up localised Innovation Playgrounds. The Lighthouse cities are Limerick and Trondheim, and there are 5 follower cities across Europe in Estonia, Spain, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Romania.
